I hate moths!!!!! I was just attacked by a whole herd/flock/swarm of them when I went out to mow my lawn this evening. And when Jaede (cat number 2) eats them when they get in the house, she smacks her lips. (Don’t tell me cats don’t have lips.) She doesn’t seem like a loud eater when she eats catfood, but a moth? “Smack, smack, slurp, smack.” And apparently they don’t go down smoothly because she kind of gulps them down. I’ve asked her to chew more quietly, but so far she’s ignored me. And yes, I am grateful to her for eating them, thus saving me from having to get rid of them.
As I pull out of my driveway, about 30 moths (a conservative estimate) come fluttering out from underneath my car. They continue to sputter out as I drive down the road. A friend goes walking in the early hours before work, and she said that she is bombarded by them in the morning. When I come home from work, about 15 or 20 moths that hang out near my house front door divebomb me. It is not pleasant.
I just need to always remember not to open wide and scream. Jaede is welcome to eat them, but I’d rather not. Ick.
